This is my final opening of a film.

Alien Hand

I wanted to make my own alien hand as it would be unique, and different to others. I was inspired by Stanley Winston, who was an American visual effects supervisor, makeup artist, and film director.

He was best known for his work in the Terminator series, the Jurassic Park series, Aliens, Predator and Avatar. He won four Academy Awards for his work.

Ideas for my soundtrack

I looked at this video for ideas for my soundtrack, I liked how he made a story by only using sound. The sounds he used build up lots of tension and it had a creepy feel to it. I will use similar sounds in my film as I want the same creepy/scary effect.

Possible shooting problems

Weather - As I'm filming outside I need to check the weather, so it doesn't start raining thorough filming as I would have to stop. and possibly start again. This would set filming back and waste time that could be used effectively. If the wind is strong, it will make it hard to hear the actors talk so i will pre record everything.

Traveling with equipment - As I'm walking to a wood I will need to be careful that the camera or tripod does not get damaged.
